This year, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is piloting a voting program called Vote Out Hunger. Second Harvest, along with the Feeding America network of 200 food banks across the country, are encouraging advocates, supporters, donors, feeding partners, and most importantly clients, to make sure they vote in the upcoming 2020 Presidential Election. Second Harvest is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization and does not support or oppose any candidate.
Why should you vote?
Your vote this November can help decide the future of crucial programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), how many kids get school meals, and whether fighting hunger is a priority for lawmakers.
