“I told myself, ‘Here is this opportunity. Why not now?'” Melody recalled. She realized she wanted more from her career than just managing a fast-food restaurant.

“It was hard to keep going,” Melody reflected, recalling the challenge of juggling work, parenting three kids, and participating in the program. “Now I’m doing what I love.”
