With the fall holiday season in full swing, individuals, companies, and organizations are looking for ways to give back. One young man stepping up to the plate is Logan Zack, an avid baseball player from Oakland in west Orange County.
“I know there are many families that struggle to feed themselves and their kids,” says Logan. “I am lucky that I don’t have to worry about my next meal. I feel blessed to help others.”
Logan set up a Virtual Food Drive to raise funds. He also started collecting food at a local batting cage and on his front porch. After sending out messages on social media and community apps like Nextdoor, neighbors started dropping off donations.
“I’ve learned there are many good people out there who want to help,” added Logan.

Hosting a Virtual Food Drive is another way for families, friends, neighbors, coworkers and classmates to give back together. This online food drive raises funds to help provide even more nutritious meals for neighbors facing hunger. Every $10 donation can provide 40 meals this holiday season.
However you decide to give back this fall, your actions help provide meals and hope for Central Florida kids, families and seniors.
