Giving back to the community that helped Betty J’s Florist become one of the top 3 florists in the Central Florida area is very important to the 50-year-old flower shop and its owner, Rilla Tomyn. Â
For decades, the shop has donated locally to such organizations as Pop Warner, little league and the local schools and churches in west Orange County.Â
With the holiday season fast approaching, Betty J’s is pleased to announce, “Blossoms of Hope”, a monthly floral arrangement and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity. During the month of September, the staff at the shop has selected Second Harvest Food Bank as the first recipient.Â
A note will be attached to each “Blossoms of Hope” arrangement, notifying the recipient that a donation will be made at the end of the month.Â
With families struggling to make ends meet, Second Harvest Food Bank provides a vital service to all of Central Florida, and Betty J’s Florist is happy to be able to add our support.Â
To order your “Blossoms of Hope” arrangement, please call Betty J’s Florist, 407-656-3526, or stop by the shop at 403 S. Dillard Street in Winter Garden.Â
