Vote Early and Vote Often in Central Florida

In Florida, vote-by-mail ballots are already being returned to Supervisors of Election for the 2018 Primary Election in all 67 counties. Early voting starts in mid-August for Central Florida.

Voting is a crucial aspect of our democracy and it affects all that we do, even putting food on the table for the family next door.

As a reminder, you are able to visit any early voting location within that county that you are registered in. However, on election day, you must visit your polling location in the county that you are registered to vote in. Hours of operation for your polling location on election day will vary by county.

What You Need to Vote Early in Florida

To vote early in the county you are registered in, you must show a valid form of identification. The identification must contain the voter’s name, photograph and signature and must not be expired. For example, a valid Florida Driver’s License or two separate forms that together contain this information (such as passport, student identification, etc). Here’s a list of valid forms of identification: Valid Forms of Identification for Voting in all Florida Counties

Here’s when you can start voting in Central Florida:

Orange County

Early voting in Orange County starts August 17th and ends on August 26th. The hours are 10 AM – 6 PM, every day. Here’s a list of early voting locations in Orange County: English List Spanish List

Lake County

Lake County early voting starts on August 16th and ends on August 25th. Hours of operations are 10 AM – 6 PM each day. For a list of early voting locations in Lake County, click here.

Osceola County

The Osceola Supervisor of Election will start early voting on August 17th and ends on August 26th. Hours of operations are 9 AM – 7 PM every day. To find the nearest early voting location to you in Osceola County, click here.

Volusia County

Volusia County begins their early voting on August 18th and ends on August 26th. The hours of operations are 8 AM – 5 PM.  To find the nearest early voting site to you in Volusia County, click here.

Brevard County

Brevard County residents can start early voting on August 18th until August 25th. Hours of operation are 8 AM – 6 PM on Monday – Friday and 8 AM – 4 PM on Saturday – Sunday. Find the nearest early voting site to you in Brevard County here.
