Hey! I’m Lainey, your Entertainment Committee Chair for Wine Women & Shoes 2016!
My committee and I oversee Wine Women & Shoes’ marketplace, wine pull, Sole Men, wine selection, and more—you know, the good stuff! The committee has worked very hard to make our sixth year the best yet. And although there are plenty of exciting changes coming this year, I’m most excited for our event marketplace.
Serious question: How often do you get to treat yourself to some great shopping and get the satisfaction of knowing your purchases were serving a good cause (other than your closet that is 😉 )?
Well at Wine Women & Shoes, it’s totally acceptable to do a little splurging—not only will you find an amazing array of things to shop, but 20% of the sales from our event marketplace go directly to Second Harvest to help feed our neighbors in Central Florida. Win, win!
This year, we’ll have a bigger marketplace than ever before! With eleven vendors hailing from all over Florida and across the country, I don’t think any lady will go home empty handed.
We are of course bringing back guest favorites like Bibby’s, Sophie and Trey, Walk on Water, Carmen Steffans, and Gina Cueto Jewelry, but we’re also introducing new vendors like Bloomingdales, LOVE Thirteen, and Ty Park Candles.
I’m particularly excited to see the John Hardy Jewelry Vault—a can’t miss addition to our event this year, not to mention the stunning jeweled sandals that one of our new vendors, Tresca Italia, will be showcasing. G-o-r-g-e-o-u-s shoes.
The Primrose Shop is a local boutique that’s sure to bring fun gifts and accessories that will be finding their way into my bag (confession: I may have already planned on buying every color of the Corcksicle tumblers they sell as well as several items from their SLANT collection).
Between the great shopping, wine, and entertainment, there will be something for everyone at Wine Women & Shoes to enjoy, and I can’t wait to see it all come together in the mission of feeding hope.
Can’t wait to partake in the fun with you all! This event sells out every year, so don’t forget to grab your tickets at www.feedhopenow.org/wws
before they are all gone. See you there!
