Imagining a Hunger-Free Central Florida on World Food Day

Can you picture a hunger-free Central Florida? In honor of World Food Day 2018, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is asking you to imagine a day when everyone in our community has enough access to the nutritious food they need to learn, work and live fulfilling lives.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations marks World Food Day each year to raise awareness of food insecurity to ensure everyone, everywhere has access to the safe, healthy and nutritious food they need.

With a meal gap of more than 100 million meals , everyone can lend a hand to help make this vision a reality for our neighbors in need.
