Hurricane Irma Relief Effort

Our community has been severely impacted by Hurricane Irma. As the sun comes out today so will stories of its destruction.

When it is safe to do so, we will start looking to see what damage we have at our Brevard and Volusia facilities. Our main facility has received minor damage that we can see so far. We will continue to supply hot meals to local shelters during the recovery phase of Irma. Additional food resources are being brought in from across the Feeding America network and will assist us tomorrow when we begin distribution for the hardest hit areas in the state.

Our offices will be closed today but ready to open tomorrow at 8am to help with disaster relief. We will need your help supplying a heightened demand from emergency food pantries in our community. Local support will be needed in the form of volunteers, food donations and monetary donations.

We will continue to keep you updated via email messages, our social media channels and our disaster page at: http://www.feedhopenow.org/disaster

First and foremost, please be careful today and wait until it is safe to go out.
