Orlando Harley Davidson presents: Hogtoberfest 2014 was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone that attended the event! For those of you who were not able to make it, I’ll share a little bit of what went down. The weather was absolutely gorgeous for this outdoor festival, and guests were able to mingle, check out Harleys for sale – and one in particular that they could win, purchase delicious food and beverage offerings from the Chefs of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida’s culinary training program, and rock out to the live music performances by special guests Rock City, One Wild Nite, and finally, classic rock legend Eddie Money! One special guest even walked away as the winner of the raffle drawing to win a 2015 Harley Street Glide! Congratulations again, Jeff Davis!
Not only was this a great day full of food, drinks, fun, and music, but it was also an amazing fundraiser for the fight against hunger! Orlando Harley Davidson was extremely generous in donating a 2015 Street Glide to Second Harvest Food Bank, so 100% of proceeds from the raffle tickets to win the motorcycle went straight to Second Harvest Food Bank’s childhood hunger programs! In addition to those proceeds, all of the proceeds from every single food and beverage purchase was donated to Second Harvest Food Bank’s childhood hunger programs as well! So what does that mean? Nearly $50,000 was donated straight to Second Harvest. WOW!!
I wanted to give a special thanks to all of our volunteers who worked so hard to help make this day happen. We truly appreciate all of your help, and couldn’t do it without you!
Another HUGE thanks to our wonderful partner, Orlando Harley Davidson. They take the mission to help out their less fortunate neighbors very seriously, and as you can see, the results are phenomenal. Thank you so much Orlando Harley Davidson, all of your hard work and generosity has truly made an impact in our community. We’re hoping for many more “Hogtoberfests” in the future!
