Cruisin’ for Charity

Author: Maria Shanley

Cruisin' for Charity Cruisin’ for Charity is a fun car event that supports Second Harvest Food Bank each month. We are alway impressed by all the creative and exciting ways our supporters raise money for Second Harvest!

All cars, trucks, old, new, classic, street rod and more come together every third Thursday of the month from 5-9 p.m. at Hammock Landing Shopping Center, 225 Palm Bay Road, West Melbourne. The event is hosted by the Mopars of Brevard Car Club and sponsored by Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Discount Tire and Kohl’s of West Melbourne.

All proceeds from this event go to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. In a year, more than $6,600 has been given to Second Harvest to help the fight against hunger in Brevard County. Last month, over 250 cars participated in Cruisin’ for Charity and $705 was raised for Second Harvest Food Bank!
