Attending the Central Florida Blogger’s conference last year was one of the smartest things I have ever done. I came away from the conference with a list of blogger contacts, tons of blogging tips and new friends.
Well, the 2012 Central Florida Blogger and Social Media conference is almost 2 months away. I’m excited to announce that this year; a partnership has been created with the Rollins Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center. This partnership has brought about “Blogging for Good.”
Blogging for Good is a social media campaign where bloggers raise awareness about local nonprofits and encourage their readers to enter a raffle. 250 bloggers are expected to attend the conference this year and hopefully they will all choose to participate in Blogging for Good!
And guess what? Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is one of the non-profits selected to participate in this new program! We are deeply honored and can’t wait to see the results of this social media campaign.
